The Secretariat of HallMUN recognizes the difficulties facing many around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and our registration process reflects the flexibility required to plan and hold events virtually. We are committed to working with delegations in order to ensure that finances does not prevent delegates from participating in the conference. Due to the transition to virtual Model UN, HallMUN is able to provide heavily discounted rates compared to other national conferences. Should financial accommodations be required, please contact our USG of Finance and Registration in order to alleviate these issues.
Prices have recently been adjusted to reflect the financial difficulties faced by universities around the country in response to concerns raised to the Secretariat. Even with this update, the Secretariat is still committed to providing financial aid to attending delegations on a case-by-case basis, and is always available to answer questions.
In addition to making the conference accessible to delegates everywhere, we are also extremely excited to be donating a large portion of profits from HallMUN to charity. We will also be allowing delegations to make additional contributions to the charity while registering. Additional information regarding the specifics of the organization will be released in the coming weeks.
