The Secretariat

Secretary General

Stephen Hoffman

Stephen Hoffman is a senior majoring in Political Science and History with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. He recently began his second year as president of Seton Hall’s travel team and has traveled to every conference possible in his time at Seton Hall. In addition to staffing Seton Hall’s high school conference for the past three years, he worked with Best Delegate over the summer, as clearly he can never have too much Model UN. Outside of MUN, Stephen can likely be found obsessing (and agonizing) over Philadelphia sports, finding the next great food to deep fry, or starting (but never finishing) new Netflix shows. Stephen has been working tirelessly on the creation of HallMUN, and cannot wait to share his excitement with the delegates in attendance!

Director General

Michael Brown

Michael Brown is a Sophomore at Seton Hall University dual majoring in Psychology and English with a minor in art and design. Despite starting Model UN later than most, Michael has fully fallen in love with it after traveling to and participating at his first conference. While serving as the Director General of HallMUN’s Secretariat, he is also the active Member at Large on the Executive Board of Seton Hall’s traveling team. Outside the world of Model UN, Michael is most likely spending time with his friends (all of whom he met because of Model UN), helping organize Seton Hall’s official art magazine, painting, or is obsessing over his favorite book/film at the moment. Though this past year has brought about much uncertainty, Michael is very excited to serve on the secretariat and to help run Seton Hall’s first official collegiate conference!
